Mobile Stroke Unit in Melbourne (Australia)

20th of November 2018 marked the first anniversary of  Australia’s first Mobile Stroke Unit (MSU) in Melbourne, Victoria. From day one the MSU has played a significant role in the care of stroke patients in the city MEYTEC is the preferred partner for the provision of telemedicine solutions on board the MSU.

Australia's first Stroke Ambulance is on the road   Australia - Victorian Stroke Telemedicine network
Australia's first Stroke Ambulance is on the road   Victorian Stroke Telemedicine Network, the new mobile telemedicine workstation VIMED® TELEDOC 5HD+ went live on 30th of July 2018 in Werribee Hospital, part of the VST-Program. The opening ceremony was carried out by the Australian minister of health, Jill Hennessy with the clinical management team in attendance

VST - award winners of Excellence in Care

The telemedical stroke network “Victorian Stroke Telemedicine  (VST)” (in daily operation since 2015) was the winner of the “Victorian Public Healthcare Award” in October 2018, recieving this accolade from the minister of health.
